Auditions! Our Auditions have been postponed due to lack of response. Please check this page weekly for updates. Auditions are open to the public. We will be taking requests for specific audition times and will fill those requests on a first come, first served basis. Please list three or four alternate times in order of your preference. On Wednesday, June 18th, We will post the remaining times available. There will be a block on Saturday for those who do not want to pre-register. Please download the Audition Form and bring it with you, Completed, to the audition. Please choose the top three roles you would like to audition for and come prepared to exemplify those characters. (Costume, Posture, Bearing, etc) You may be chosen for a different character, but we would like to see your interpretation of the character you are auditioning for. All applicants over the age of 8 to do a 30 second monologue, 16 bars of a prepared Broadway song (Pianist will be provided, if requested ahead of time, or you may bring a minus track- No background singers or melody allowed), and you will be asked to do a cold reading from the script. Applicants under the age of 8 will be asked to prepare the monologue and sing 16 bars. Since most younger children do not read well, they will not be required to do a cold reading.
All members of the cast will be expected to sing in the chorus. Each cast member will be responsible providing their own costume. We will be listing alternates for each main character. However, the alternates should not expect to be seen in that role unless there is an emergency.
